With the Cashel Quiet Ride™ Fly Mask, you will be confident your horse is protected and content, giving you a much quieter and safer ride on the trail. Featuring a similar design and the dependable quality of the Cashel Crusader™ fly masks, the Quiet-Ride™ is constructed from a sheer, translucent mesh that easily fits over your bridle to allow your horse to see clearly while keeping pesky flies and gnats at bay during your entire ride.

Cashel guarantees quality you can count on, and this reliable design features a patented three-hole cap that eliminates forelock damage. Soft, low-nap polar fleece-bound seams and edges prevent any rubbing or discomfort and won't attract burrs and other debris.

Fit well, but not durableThe mesh on the nose ripped during the first week. Yes, Nemo (the horse) was rubbing it on fence posts, but this product should have lasted more than the first week without a tear. Very thin. Do not recommend.

Love this for hitting the trails!I've used this over-bridle fly mask for a few years, and it is durable and extremely lightweight compared to a turnout fly mask. It provides excellent coverage and doesn't rub after miles and miles on trail. I use it in the arena, too. I see much less head tossing and reaching to scratch when my horse wears this. If you have a sensitive nellie regarding summer bugs, this is the fly mask for you.

The only fly mask my horse will use.I've used Cashel's quiet ride fly masks for many years and have only needed to replace them once. My horse will find ways to get out of other masks, he'll actually ask for this whenever I tack him up for a summer ride. If I forget to put it on him, he'll take it off the rack and give it to me! Those of you who've been around horses know just what I'm talking about. This horse is very sensitive to black flies and mooseflys, but he rarely ever shakes his head while wearing this mask.

Comments: I purchased two of these; one for each of my horses. I intended to use it as a riding/working mask as well as a leave on when I am not with them. When I say leave on, I mean all night and day. It was important to me that the mask be very easy to see through and comfortable for my horses. Both the masks and the horses have done great. It took my mare a couple days to get used to the fact that the flies were not actually on her face but rather on the mask. She did a bit of head shaking for awhile before getting used to it. My gelding seemed very thankful and has had no issues. I don't hook them tightly for all night use and have come to find them off, but usually in their roll spot so I know it just rubbed off when they were rolling. They really like them. This mask does accumulate massive dust so it does need to be cleaned every couple days, if not daily. I am sure if I were only using it for its intended purpose, this would not be as big an issue. Woolite has been best to remove all dirt easily. Simply putting the mask under running water was not enough. All in all, this is a great mask and I highly recommend it not just for riding, but also if you need it for extended periods of time.

Comments: We would not be able to ride in the woods in the summer without these masks. Everyone I know uses them. The deer flies are so terrible and these masks and the only thing that keep them off our horses faces. Will always keep one around!

Comments: Great quality fly mask with extra coverage over the nose. Keeps the smallest bugs out of the horses eyes so well it makes me want to get a second one for me to wear. I wouldn't need the long ears and extra long nose coverage, though.
