Comments: Betadine is a wonderful scrub for cleaning wounds. I use it on cuts that are deeper than a surface level scrape. I find it works best to rinse the wound, then squirt some betadine on and scrub it around pretty firmly to loosen dried blood and other debris and cleanse the wound site. I follow it up with another rinse and then apply treatment to the wound.
