Comments: I ride long distances. First, the pros...these boots are comfortable, easy to pull on and off, lightweight, clean up really well. I can get off and run/walk with my horse and my feet feel great. The only con... I was out doing a heat training ride in the sun, 97 degree heat. These boots heat up with direct sun contact to the point of feeling like my feet would have burn marks. I almost pulled them off and rode barefoot. I love these boots and will keep them but will only ride in them when I can be assured of some shade on hot days out on the trail. If they ever make them in lightweight calfskin I'd buy them in a minute.

Comments: I've worn Ariat boots for over 30 years and I wasn't impressed with these. They are very comfortable, true to size, and easy to put on however, they started coming apart after just a few months of regular use. The sole was separating at the toe. I also found that these have no temperature regulation whatsoever. If it's hot out, my feet are hot. If it's cold out, they're cold. I like the concept but the design needs improvement.
