Comments: 4 out of 5 stars. My horse seems to really like this. Dressage rider here. I have ridden in this 5x in the past week. He goes nicely round and pleasant in the warm-up, and then at sitting trot, he seems comfortable, responsive, and attentive. I was looking to replace a different brand half pad that is thin, but not contoured very well and pretty flat where you need some curvature. This fits the bill and must be providing him with some good feels. I ride with this over top of a Back on Track dressage saddle pad. It is quite grippy, and will not move out of place. After a week of rain, mud, and a dusty horse, I can see the airflow aspect exists. Dust flies through the open spots and creates a checkerboard-like pattern on the bottom of my saddle. I don't mind that; it shows me air is getting through the cutouts even with the weight of a rider on top of it. Future improvements would be to make a true dressage model. This just barely fits my 17.5 dressage saddle. Also, charcoal gray is an odd choice. I'd suggest black, white, brown to blend in with standard tack or saddle pads.
