Comments: Got this to attach a crupper to my dressage saddle for my mule. Works like a charm, stays in place and keeps the saddle from sliding. The metal one works better than the leather one.I tried a leather one first and it bent and came out of the channel.

Comments: I use this attachment with a Zilco crupper however my husband had to widen the middle of the slot using a large drill to accommodate the crupper snap.

Comments: I have attached this to my saddle, I like the concept and it does seem to fit well. Unfortunately, I have not used it because it's not compatible with the crupper I bought. The description states it can be used with the Zilco Saddle Crupper or Berlin Beta Crupper. I purchased the Berlin crupper which has a clip at the end. The clip is too fat to fit in the slot of the crupper T. Sure, I can take the clip off but unfortunately, the crupper is wider than the slot in the crupper. (The slot is 7/8"x1/4"). I am disappointed it doesn't work together. I might try to make the slot larger so the clip can hook on it.
