Please Note: Zilco "Standard/Arab" size is smaller than average horse size. These items will fit petite horses. "Oversize" fits horses that are significantly larger, including some drafts/draft crosses. These pieces are highly adjustable. Always compare the measurements provided to measurements of your horse or your horse's current bridle to get a good fit.
Zilco's Deluxe Trail Bridle is used in combination with the Zilco Deluxe Trail Halter to create our top-selling halter-bridle combo, or it may be used with any halter you already have! It works perfectly with a rope halter, but can be used with most web halters as well. The browband simply wraps around your halter crown-piece, clipping to itself as shown in the photo.

Sizing:
Available in two very adjustable sizes. This standard size is often appropriate for most Arabians, and other breeds that have a more petite face. The Oversize Deluxe Snap-On Bridle is available for larger horse heads. Compare the measurements offered below to best determine your horse's size.

More holes may be punched to adjust size smaller and excess material may be cut and ends heat-sealed.

This low-maintenance material is completely washable; simply soak in a soapy bucket of water, hose off, and wipe dry!
Care Instructions: Zilco is incredibly easy to maintain, you can Simply clean in a bucket of soapy water, rinse, and hang to dry.

Comments: These really are the best bridles if you ride hard and alot. I have two already and plan to get a third. Sweat doesn't bother them, dirt is scared away :). They clean up quick. The snap on feature is great. I have the security of being able to tie in my rope halter with or without the bridle and dont have to worry about it beaking if there was a pullback. Or I can remove and let my horse graze and relax without it. A win-win situation.

Comments: I love this headstall! My mare is used to an English bridle, but she had no problems adjusting to this. It's sweat resistant, easy to clean, easy to get on and off, and the black looks snazzy over a sage green rope halter on my grey mare. Comments: This is my all-time favorite thing that I have purchased here...I have it in oversize, black, and it fits my BelgianXQH perfectly. It is so simple to use and lightweight. I love the feel of the biothane, it is soft and flexible and quick to wipe clean....and it's strong. I use it with a rope halter and it's such a snap to put on. Comments: I have this Zilco bridle in black and LOVE it ... it works SO well with a rope halter, just a great combination ... I ride with a second set of round reins attached to the halter, and use them for the most part when trail riding, leaving the round reins that are attached to the bridle/bit loosely draped around my saddle horn, and only pick up on them when absolutely necessary - wonderful combination of freedom and control.

Comments: I had originally purchased the halter and bridle combo. I find it so much easier to use a rope halter and just this bridle. Due to health issues I have a hard time with gator snaps or hooks that I have on several other halter bridle combos. This is just so easy to snap around the rope halter. Much easier on painful fingers. I did have to replace a snap on one side (horse stepped on it) but it was nothing to take it to a local saddle maker and have replaced. I'm betting a dry cleaner/tailor could do the same. Very easy to keep clean, looks new all the time. I got a rope halter that matches the bridle so my pretty girl keeps lookin' pretty.
