Please Note: Zilco "Standard/Arab" size is smaller than average horse size. These items will fit petite horses. "Oversize" fits horses that are significantly larger, including some drafts/draft crosses. These pieces are highly adjustable. Always compare the measurements provided to measurements of your horse or your horse's current bridle to get a good fit.
Zilco's Oversize Deluxe Trail Bridle is used in combination with the Zilco Oversize Deluxe Trail Halter to create our top-selling halter-bridle set, or it may be used with any halter you already have! It works perfectly with a rope halter, but can be used with most web halters as well. The browband simply wraps around your halter crown-piece, clipping to itself as shown in the photo.

This bridle is available in two very adjustable sizes. The standard size bridle (available in many colors!) is often appropriate for most Arabians, Quarter Horses and average horse heads. This oversize version is available for horses with larger heads: drafts, warmbloods, etc. Compare the measurements offered below to best determine your horse's size!

Comments: This is my all-time favorite thing that I have purchased here...I have it in oversize, black, and it fits my BelgianXQH perfectly. It is so simple to use and lightweight. I love the feel of the biothane, it is soft and flexible and quick to wipe clean....and it's strong. I use it with a rope halter and it's such a snap to put on. I am going to get another to fit my large-headed mule (-: I can't express enough how much I love using it!

I love that I can have a couple Zilco halters, then have a separate headstall adjusted for each horse, with their bit. Definitely the best synthetic bridle out there . . . and the customer service I received from the LRG team was phenomenal!

Comments: I had originally purchased the halter and bridle combo. I find it so much easier to use a rope halter and just this bridle. Due to health issues I have a hard time with gator snaps or hooks that I have on several other halter bridle combos. This is just so easy to snap around the rope halter. Much easier on painful fingers. I did have to replace a snap on one side (horse stepped on it) but it was nothing to take it to a local saddle maker and have replaced. I'm betting a dry cleaner/tailor could do the same. Very easy to keep clean, looks new all the time. I got a rope halter that matches the bridle so my pretty girl keeps lookin' pretty.
