Comments: I ordered one of these about a month ago and I really like it! I've never dealt with pommel bags before, but I honestly like them so much better than cantle bags for an english saddle. I haven't quite figured out all the straps to attach it properly, but just using the velcro works well and they don't bounce and flap around while riding. I like it better than the cantle bag because it will fit more types of saddles and my water bottles aren't going to start leaking since they are upright and secured! So far it seems to be well made and I like how many pockets I easily have access to.

Comments: I have used Easycare's packs for years.  They are lightweight and have a lot of straps and buckles to arrange them so that the bags aren't flapping as you're trotting and cantering down the trail.  They are also designed to be highly utilitarian; lots of pockets and easy zippers.  They don't last as long as I'd like, I've had some ripping, but I do endurance and use my equipment pretty heavily.  I would recommend this pack but I have found that I prefer my waterbottles to be on the cantle instead of the pommel so as not to get in the way of the reins and breastcollar attachments.

Comments: I love the stowaway deluxe pommel pack! The color is vibrant, the material seems durable (it's holding up well so far), and there's a ton of room for anything I need. I use it with a dressage saddle and don't need a cantle pack at all because everything fits in the pommel pack. The only con is that it can be difficult to attach (no snaps just buckles)/figure out the attachments. After I received it I looked online and Riding Warehouse does have a very helpful video showing all the different ways it can be attached. Once attached I don't have a problem with bounce, and because the bottom is fleece-lined I don't worry about rubs on my horse.

Comments: I love my roomy EasyCare Stowaway Deluxe Pommel Pack Saddlebag. I replaced my EasyCare Cantle Pack Saddlebag with this great pommel bag. No more reaching behind me for water and snacks!!

Comments: I love this pack. I have had it about four years now and its still working great. I don't think I have even washed it and it still looks great. It fits on my dressage saddle and I recently just switched it to my western saddle. Enough room to pack a little of everything!

Comments: LOVE my Easycare Stowaway bags. Bonus: when I originally ordered these, they shipped but weren't the same color blue. The AWESOME customer service folks at Riding Warehouse got it traded for me and now they match! :) Thanks, Riding Warehouse!

Comments: We love these EasyCare saddlebags. The quality seems to be good. It's now being tested on a over 1000 mile (1350 km) long trail. When my friend comes back and she still loves those saddlebags, we know we have the right stuff! ;-)

Comments: I love the Stowaway Deluxe pommel saddlebag.  Just got them last week and I was really impressed with the quality.  It is amazing how many pockets the set has! Haven't had a chance to take them out on a trail ride yet (lots of rain and wind) but I'm sure I will enjoy having everything where I can get to it.

Comments: Nice quality, love the fleece underside. Kind of a challenge to figure out how to attach it, as there are no instructions. Also asked the company (which I referenced incorrectly on the bottle holder) sorry EasyCare, for blaze orange as a color option. We like to change to blaze during hunting season. Still a big fan of Stowaway products.

Comments: After 5 years of trail & endurance riding, I am replacing my Stowaway Deluxe Packs with another set. My husband's horse has a set that is over 3 years old and they are still in good condition. I love these packs. They have been thru sun, rain, mud, etc. and served my horse and me well. The packs attach securely to the front of the saddle, hold all kinds of gear (Easy Boot, tools, food, sunglasses, etc.) including water bottles. They are easy to attach and remove. Sometimes I remove my packs for arena/dressage training, but they do not interfere with my hands or reins when riding. Additionally, they are comfortable for our horses. They have never had an issue with irritation, bouncing, or soreness from the packs. I handwash them, hang to dry, and they come out looking great. Nice advantage if you are using an English type saddle, the pommel straps can be used to hold a jacket, vest, etc. or just for extra security on the bags.

Comments: Love this pack! Works very nicely with a dressage saddle. Holds plenty of gear, and is nicely made. Fleece back is nice and soft. Design is such that the pack does not lie on your horse's neck. Pack does not get in the way of reins at all for me. Pockets are large enough to hold a rope halter and lead rope easily. Be sure to desensitize your horse to the velcro sound of the bottle keepers! Only suggestion is that it would be nice if it came with installation instructions. Mine did not, so it was a trial and error process.

Comments: Nice packs...we have three of them and have no complaints after many hours of competitive trail riding. Everything stays very secure and the pack has numerous built-in ways to secure it to the saddle. There are many handy pockets...the only problem is remembering were you put stuff. To date we have not experienced any failures or found anything that needs improving.

Comments: Great quality. I love the purple! It's a little complicated to put on though. I wish it came with clips to attach. That would make it easier for on/off. Otherwise these bags are excellent. PLENTY of storage!
From: Mallory - Dayton, Nevada, USA

Comments: I am so disappointed with this bag. You would expect it to last much longer, for the price. I got it last October, and it is falling apart. One of the bottle holding straps has come completely off, and the stitching at the base of the center compartment is ripped.
From: Donna - Tenino, WA, USA

Comments: Seemed like it would be a nice trail bag. But, the straps for one of the water bottles ripped after only 3 uses. It looks like the stitching was not reinforced well enough. I am going to try the cantle pack instead.

RW Response: Oh dear - got a lemon? Use our free return label for a quick swap! EasyCare stands behind their products and so do we. We're happy to do a free exchange.

Comments: I tried this bag and watched the video. Still couldn't get this to be a bounce free pack. I would've loved to have kept it but decided to go with the cantle pack instead. Really wish I could have got it to be bounce free but unfortunately on my saddle the front part of the bag refused to stay bounce free. I tried putting the strap under the bag to see if that would help and it still bounced. My girl has a bouncy trot so I guess I'll have to make do with the cantle version. If the cantle bounces I guess I'm not meant to have a saddle bag! :] PS loved the blue color I got! Very vibrant. The website doesn't do justice in colors. I suggest watching their YouTube videos to see how beautiful the colors really are.
From: Kathrine- Holbrook, Arizona, USA

Comments: So disappointed! I loved this bag at first because of all the pockets and it's easy to get into while riding; however, I've only had this pommel bag less than a month and it already has a large tear.
