These top bars are the same diameter from side to side; there is no taper or angle as occasionally seen on some brands. EasyCare finds the straight bars are more versatile.

Comments: I have replaced the top bars on all my stirrups with these (non of the stirrups are trail style). I love them! It really helps alleviate knee pain. It's very easy to change them out too. I recommend using locktite if you plan to leave them with a pair of stirrups. I'm sure the bolts hold fine, but I locktite all nuts & screws on tack....Nothing worse than losing your nuts on the trail.

Comments: I got a 1.5" pair of these to get my "new" used EZ Rides to fit better on my dressage saddle. The extra width on the bars doesn't affect the stirrups at all. Also, RW has the best price on them that I have found. $13 at a local tack store? No thanks!
