Measuring: To measure for a helmet, use a soft measuring tape and take the measurement right above the eyebrow, around the fullest part of the head.

Comments: I came off my horse this morning during a spook and smacked the back of my head hard against the street. This helmet cracked, I felt my brains slosh around, but other than a mild headache, this helmet saved my life. I'm ordering another today. I've worn it hours at a time on trails and it's never given me a bit of discomfort.

Comments: Update: handed helmet down to my GF, her head is a bit smaller than mine or maybe rounder and she really likes this one. Has cut out for ponytail to go over dial, under helmet. Seems to work for her.

Comments: Ordered this as a replacement for the discontinued IRH ultralite that I loved. I wear a 7 1/4 hat size, Medium in IRH, Large in Tipperary. Ordered the larger M/L size in this one. Does NOT run large. helmet too small front to back, digs into my forehead even with dial all the way out not even touching my head. Also the brim is flimsy and not attached securely.. couple little plastic tabs which pop off if you breath on it. Over all not very "Extreme".

Comments: After trying ten helmets that were obviously designed for stormtroopers or extraterrestrial insects, thanks to the diligent expertise of Amanda, Paige and the crew at Riding Warehouse we finally found the right fit with the Ovation Extreme. The helmet is light weight, well ventilated, and snug without being too tight.

Comments: I love my Ovation Schooler and thought this would be a nice small step up, but this one didn't fit as well. It feels rounder than the Schooler. Unfortunately didn't work for me, returned.
