Western Reins

Western reins come in several varieties like split reins, single roping reins or barrel racing reins, and romal. As an essential piece of riding equipment, they aid in clear guidance to your horse. The feel of reins is a personal preference for riders with varied thickness, weight, and lengths. Choose waterloop ties or clips for a secure attachment to your bit and browse various materials of Herman oak leather, latigo leather, or woven nylon.

Western Barrel Reins

Barrel reins are typically shorter than a roping rein with more grip, commonly found in the form of knots or laces, for rein security during speed events like barrel racing. Traditionally offered in leather and nylon options, we have fun-colored barrel reins to match your apparel and horse tack!

Western Show and Romel Reins

Commonly used for show events like Western pleasure, romal reins (aka 'romel') feature a long quirt/portion attached to a continuous, looped rein.
