Measuring Guide:
Collect both measurements while seated with the leg at a 90 degree angle using a cloth measuring tape. Wear the breeches and socks that you would wear while measuring. Have an additional person take the measurements for best accuracy.
For Calf Height - Measure from where the heel rests on the ground to the bend of the knee. Add approximately 1/2-3/4" in height to allow for drop.
For Calf Width - Measure the circumference of the widest part of the calf.

Comments: These are great boots for the price. My custom boots at $1000 are not as comfortable as the Tuff Rider. I was looking for something I could show in and to replace my custom boots. These are a great price, break-in easy, and fit my legs really well. I will be purchasing another pair of these when these start to look bad. Highly recommend. Also, since I am 5' tall, I have a hard time finding boots that fit, but these were just right.

Comments: Tuffrider is definitely becoming a competitive brand from their dressage saddle pad to these boots. These boots look and feel good enough that I plan to show in them. I was ready to splurge on some Konigs but decided to try these because why not. It was a matter of $200 versus $1000. I love to wear tall boots while schooling because it puts me in the "show" mindset and I think they are comfy and look nice. These are so comfortable. I'm used to Ariats or Tredstep for my schooling tall boots but these are cheaper and feel just as good. I was so surprised! However, I don't have any issues with my feet that may cause someone else to need custom boots. The size 8 fits like my Ariats but the slim is a little bigger than I like but they don't look or feel bad. There is just a slight 1/2" gap at the top but that was to be expected since I usually get a 13" slim in Ariat/Tredstep but these are 13.5" so they fit similarly. For the price I can live with that!

Comments: Really like these boots! As a lifelong western riding crossing over into the dressage world I had no idea what to look for in boots. I went with these as I figured it would be a good starting place price wise. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable they are. No chance to break them in I put them on and wore them all day with no issues and they fit beautifully.

I was sooooo impressed and surprised! They fit like custom boots, and I love how nicely they fit my ankle. They required zero break-in time. The leather quality is much higher than I expected for the cost. Highly recommend!
