- The unique Flip-Fold™ Fit System is an adjustable inner liner that can be made thinner or thicker to accommodate various head shapes and hairstyles with adjustments made by simply folding over the integrated tabs.
- The structural plastic of the Soft-Tip™ Visor is co-molded with a soft, flexible outer rim, specifically engineered to reduce the possible occurrence of cuts or scrapes in the event of a fall.

Measuring: To measure for a helmet, use a soft measuring tape to take the measurement right above the eyebrow, around the fullest part of the head.

This one far exceeds what I was looking for. I love the adjustable fit and the lower profile. I get tons of compliments in it and it feels really comfortable! Highly recommend.

Comments: Troxel helmets have always been a mixed bag. Some of them are great, others not so much. I wore the old-style Sierra for more than six years, and it was time to replace it, but the new Sierra is just enough smaller that it wouldn't fit me, and a lot of the recent Troxel helmets seem to be designed to appeal to young women (I'm an old guy). So they came out with the Cheyenne (a really unfortunate name, since they already have a different helmet called Cheyenne Rowdy) and it's available in XL. The good news is that it fits (even my long-oval head, with the little flip pads on the side flipped. And I like the magnetic chin strap fastener, the absence of fabric on the shell (the fabric on the Sierra had faded after about three years), and the new system to hold it snug. But it's ungainly (partly a result of having to get the XL to fit my narrow head), heavy (about the same as the Sierra, but there are a lot of lighter helmets out there), doesn't have a lot of ventilation, and a bit over-decorated for my taste. I expect to be wearing it five years from now, but I'm a bit disappointed.
