Constructed from Woolback® virgin knit-wool fleece, this material is resilient, durable pile material offers superior moisture wicking and heat dispersal with high breathe-ability, concussion protection, and comfort. Woolback fleece is natural white in color.

Care Suggestions:
Machine wash with horse shampoo and cool water on gentle cycle and hang to air dry (no direct sun) or tumble/fluff dry (no heat).

Comments: Fits and looks great under my 17.5" English AP style saddle! The longer standard Woolback just seemed like it wouldn't look right (obviously just a personal preference) and I didn't need the extra coverage in the back anyway since I don't really use cantle saddle bags. Very cushioned without being too bulky. I have a treed saddle so inserts seemed like a bit much, and I'm glad I went with the plain no-insert variety - maybe lost a little bit of the close contact feel of my quilt pad but nothing that affected the ride. Inserts probably would have been way too much. Girth ended up maybe 1-2 holes looser but the saddle didn't slip. I was kind of expecting the wicking action to make the pad wet with sweat but it wasn't - some kind of magic/science is going on because the pad was almost cool to the touch when I took it off after a 5-mile up-and-down-hills trail adventure. My horse seemed happy! This is a very well made pad and looks like it will hold up for years if cared for. Looking forward to continuing our conditioning rides and eventually our competition rides with it!
