Seemingly Sturdy & Good SizeI've used this now for several months. The padding over the crown is soft and well-constructed. The "horse" size is a little smaller than other "horse" sizes, but I actually appreciate that because it fits my horse's head better. She's a large Warmblood but has a refined head, so I either need to use a cob halter with a longer horse crownpiece or a horse halter with a cob+ size crownpiece. This does the trick. This halter is hung on the gate 8+ hours a day, and, so far, has held up to the hot sun and the rain. I did condition it this weekend, and it's looking good. I actually swapped it out for the crownpiece that came with a competitor's breakaway halter because it is sturdier.
