Directions for Use:
Before applying, clean the leather thoroughly. Then apply Passier Lederbalsam with a brush and let it soak into the leather. Before using the leather again, wipe it clean with a cotton cloth.

Leaves the leather feeling niceI bought this because I read everywhere that it leaves the leather on the tacky side. I didn't find this to be true, unfortunately for me. It did leave the leather nice and soft.
Best for Deep Cleaning of TackI have been using Passier Lederbalsam for many years. It is always my go-to for a deep cleaning of my saddle or bridle. I don't always have time to thoroughly clean my saddle on a ride day, but when I do, this is the best quality leather cleaner I have found. And it keeps tack clean long after I use it. A must-have in my tack room for sure.

Comments: Wonderful conditioner. Moisturizes the leather but does not saturate or weaken it like oils do. I have a new Passier saddle and followed the instructions of using ONLY this weekly - the leather looks and feels wonderful (a little tacky without collecting dust / sticky). Comments: My saddle manufacturer uses and recommended this conditioner. I really like the way it soaks into the leather and does not leave a residue that attracts and collects dirt - I live in a very dusty area. My clean saddle, conditioned with this product is slightly tackier than it was before conditioning which I really like. The fragrance is lovely and does not bother my allergies. My dry hands definitely benefit from using this conditioner as well.

Comments: I love Passier Lederbalsam. I used it on a new saddle and various other leather goods with great results. However, I do have a warning. Dogs love it too and my beagle licked the can clean. She survived although things got a bit messy for a while! I have been hesitating ordering this product again because of that incident, but I have never used anything better.

Comments: Awesome leather conditioner! Put this on a used saddle I purchased that was dry and looking like it was going to crack and it restored the leather to its beautiful, supple condition. I put it on after a ride and wiped the excess off before the next ride and was surprised with how much the saddle absorbed! Definitely will use this product on all my leather goods.
