Non-slip and well-made reinsMy horse has a habit of pulling the reins and bolting occasionally; with these rubber reins, I am able to prevent that action. They are attractive, and the keepers are sturdy.
DisappointedI thought these reins were really nice and expected they'd be good for extra grip. However, my mare must have a long neck because my hands ended up holding at the place where the rubber meets the 2" leather connector. Thought I'd get used to them. But when my green horse got spooked and bolted, my hands slipped and I had no reins. I came off, luckily not badly hurt. Better for shorter-necked horses.

Comments: I don't ride in any other reins. These are perfect if you have small hands and like rubber reins. They're not bulky, easy to hold, and don't slip through your fingers. Don't blister your hands either.

Comments: These reins are so soft and nice to hold, especially when I am not wearing gloves. They feel like a much... finer... brand (heh heh) of soft grip reins and are sturdily made, with the bonus of being a spectacular price point. These are going to be my go to from now on!
