Overview
You'll be back in the saddle with ease using the E-Z Mount Western Stirrup Extender! Just work one end of the E-Z Mount into your stirrup and use the roughly-treaded side to mount with ease without having to adjust your fenders.
Many riders struggle to mount from the ground or find themselves standing on top of unstable objects to climb atop their horses; the E-Z Mount solves these problems and is easy to pack away and take with you on the trail!
The tread is 6 inches wide. Overall length is 3 inches longer than the E-Z Mount English Stirrup Extender. Fed through a standard Western style stirrup, this extender lowers your mounting surface about 6 inches. The Western E-Z Mount comes with a steel plate that attaches to the EZ Mount. This adapter is provided because many western stirrups have a wider opening than English stirrups. Also note that if you use the Western EZ Mount on an English stirrup iron, you may be too low to raise your leg over the horse's back.

Comments: I understand that these have to be used like climbing a rope ladder, except that it's so awkward that it is impossible. I tried to mount with it multiple times and failed every time. I passed off to a longer legged friend to try and she couldn't mount with it either. I'm glad it wasn't very expensive. It's too bad the length isn't adjustable. If the stirrup extender wasn't quite so long, I'd probably be able to use it.

Comments: What a great idea! But evidently I must be doing something wrong, when I put my foot in the extender I am down to low to swing my leg up over the horse. Had to return.
