Overview

Perfect for a young or sensitive horse, or a rider new to spurs, the Centaur Stainless Steel RollerBall Spurs are an effective and practical addition to your riding wardrobe. Constructed from high grade solid stainless steel for a lifetime rust-free guarantee, these spurs are offered with a full 1" straight neck featuring a smooth stainless steel roller ball knob, which allows the spur to roll as it touches your horse's side, reducing the chance of spur marks and providing a milder touch, appropriate for sensitive horses.

Designed to fit snugly on the heel of your boot and rest slightly on the heel or spur lip, these women's spurs are lightweight and feature flat branches, as well as a standard strap loop on either end of each branch to accommodate leather or synthetic stirrup straps.

Key Features

  • Great for Young/Sensitive Horses

Spur Fit:

When considering the use of spurs, thoroughly examine your leg position in order to select the shank size required for appropriate contact. A general guide is to determine how close your heel falls next to your horse's barrel; the closer your heel to your horse, the shorter the shank with lesser degree of curve is needed. If you have long legs and your heel hangs farther from your horse's side, a longer shank with a higher degree of curve may be necessary for appropriate contact on your horse's barrel.

Did you know? Most English spurs are made with a slight bend allowing for close contact.
