Comments: Far more durable in sub-freezing weather than the PVC type! Be aware that if you've used the Centuar colored PVC boots before, the sizing is NOT the same. The rubber ones are a little smaller than the PVC. My horse fits a Large in the PVC great (4" tall, 3" top diameter, 6" bottom diameter), but the rubber ones are shorter and not as big around, by about 1/4 inch in both dimensions. The velcro also doesn't stay as covered up due to the way the rubber sewed onto it is bulkier than the thinner straps of the PVC boots.
